I have had the great pleasure of being Highbury Hall Wedding Photographer for Kelly And Ylber; one of the sweetest couples I have ever met throughout my many years as a #professional wedding photographer in Birmingham. The gorgeous #couple met through some mutual friends, and instantly had a connection. Ylber instantly wanted to dive into a relationship, but Kelly wanted to wait. She waited an entire few days, until she was completely swept off her feet.

The wedding took place at the stunning #Highbury hall, the late Joseph Chamberlain’s 19th century residence. This building has such natural ambience with the dark wooden interior, it was a million times suited for the beautiful couple’s #autumn themed #wedding. It was #dark rainy day, but as I arrived inside the #building, it was not reflected due to the choice of #decorations. The white table cloths balanced out the dark walls, and #colour was added through autumn #leaves scattered around the table, and other table decorations.

I then went upstairs to greet the #gorgeous #bride, who was getting ready with her mother and two #brides maids. Kelly was wearing an #ivory dress with cream #floral #patterns, which again complimented the theme of their day, as well as her beautiful #red #hair. I then took some portraits of the #ladies and some action shots as they were applying the finishing touches. After completing these, I headed back down from the #bridal #suite to capture the nervous smile of the lovely #groom, who was so excited.

Following all the preparation images, Kelly and Ylber finally reunited at their #civil ceremony. The ceremony was filled with very loud and confident yeses, and very shy and fast kisses. Following all the greetings and congratulations, we headed outside to take all the couple and group photos. Luckily, God was on our side and the rain stopped, which even made the weather slightly warmer. Highbury Hall has excellent spots for photographs. Some of my #favourites are by a set of steps next to a huge #tree, and the passage around the field which #highlights the entire building in its #beauty and #elegance. We also took some #fun #photos inside, on the second floor which is also a fantastic spot for atmospheric #photographs.

The #speeches started in the evening, where I had captured some huge #laughs from the couple and their friends and family. After all the staged photographs, it is always fun to take some more #natural photos. Sadly, my lovely day with the couple was coming to an end, as they #danced their #first dance as #Mr and #Mrs. I wish Kelly and Ylber the best of luck and happiness in their marriage.
